This French Riviera photographic poster print of the iconic Welcome Hotel sitting at the water's edge in the beautiful french fishing village of Villefranche sur Mer, will transport you to the sparkling and magnificent coast known as the Cote d'Azur.

Shot during my time living here in a village only minutes away, Welcome Hotel has been one of my favourite hotels since the days of my first stay back in the 1980's. A family run hotel that first opened over 220 years ago, and while it has not always been the four star boutique hotel that it is today, it has always lead a colourful and interesting life.

The Welcome has attracted the literary and artistic crowd since the 1920's, welcoming such greats as the 20th century artist Jean Cocteau, whose work is reflected throughout the hotel, as well as a more contemporary crowd, such as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Picasso was often seen here with Cocteau. Kiki de Montparnasse, Somerset Maugham and Isadora Duncan were amongst many other creative figures who enjoyed this special small hotel sitting on the edge of one of the most beautiful bays in the world, the bay of Villefranche sur Mer.

Printed On - Premium Ultra Matt sustainable 250gsm (only wood pulp from plantation forests) paper that has exceptional image reproduction. Using the industry benchmark Epson printer with Epson UltraChrome archival inks. No heavy metals are used in the printing process.
